A man went to a hospital at around 3 a.m. to have a health problem treated. Because he was a new patient there, the hospital staff asked him some questions to get a background and to know more about his condition.

They found out his name was Cesar and that he lived on the streets. While they were talking to him, one of them, Cris Mamprim, noticed four dogs standing just outside the hospital door.

They were all looking inside, and they appeared as if they were waiting. Mamprim realized they were the furry friends of the homeless man they were treating.

The four dogs did not cause any trouble. They did not try to go in or go near Cesar. They just patiently waited outside the door. The scenario touched Mamprim’s heart that she took a photo of the dogs and posted it on Facebook.

According to her, Cesar was “a simple person” who had no possessions and depended on other people’s help to deal with the hunger, the lack of a warm place to stay, and the other concerns of life. However, he had with him the “best companions.”

She said the behavior of Cesar’s four faithful friends showed how he must have cared for them. And the love he gives them is reciprocated.

Later on, they learned from Cesar that he decided to take the dogs so they wouldn’t be on their own. He also said he sometimes did not eat so he could give food to his four companions.

As the staff tended to Cesar’s needs, they decided to invite the dogs in so they could go near him. They also gave Cesar and his dogs some food to eat. Cesar ate some and saved the rest to give to his dogs later.

Finally, after about an hour, Cesar was discharged from the hospital. He walked out on the street with his furry friends in tow, all of them giving the rest of the world an inspiring picture of genuine love and affection.
