Jordan Ireland is a true cat and dog lover and thinking of her pets makes her excited to come home to Colorado. Since she is studying at Concordia University in Wisconsin, she does not get the chance to go home every day. That is why she sees to it that she maximizes the time she spends with her pets.
Last December, she noticed that her fuzzy friends named Maggie and Pumpkin were acting a little strange. She knows that the two animals do not like each other ever since they were brought together. According to Jordan, since Maggie became part of their family way before Pumpkin did, the two have a bit of tension towards each other.
As days go by, Jordan noticed that the two pets are slowly getting used to each other’s company. She noticed that Pumpkin and Maggie are already playing with each other unlike before when they cannot even be put together in one place. They are already having fun running around the house, and their favorite spot is the staircase.
While Jordan is happy that her beloved pets are now close to each other, she does not have any idea as to what extent their closeness has become. For her, it is enough that the two pets are no longer quarreling and fighting. But, she is surprised to know that the two are closer than ever.
Jordan wanted to prove that two animals which are exactly opposite of each other can be really good friends. So, she tried to capture her pets’ sweet gestures towards each other on video. She was too glad to see that her pets cuddle each other, stroke each other’s back, and embrace each other.
Ever since the video was posted online, it has racked up more than one million reactions from people all over the world. It simply shows that in this world full of negativity and hatred, people can draw inspiration for peace from animals like Pumpkin and Maggie.
