A stunning house design was made by China’s Atelier About Architecture to meet the needs of the owner and its dog. It seems like a dog’s needs were prioritized even more in making the layout, ambiance, and decor of the house.

The owner, who requested herself the materials and furniture that will be used in creating the house, was all focused on the habits of her dog. Her 4,300-square-feet home consists of two floors with a kitchen, dining room, living room, entertainment room, and bedrooms. White, blue and gray were the main colors used that give the house a light ambiance.

The whole basement was allotted just for the dog. It was painted using colors pink, yellow and blue that allow its depth perception. Ramps and a relaxing area were installed in the room.

Vets can come and examine the dog in the area made just for such purpose. The area was designed so the vets can easily provide medical care and conduct different tests.

Upon designing, the firm also considered the dog’s weak joints. The dog is very sensitive and experiences hip pains according to the owner, so they had to use soft materials on the floors to prevent the jarring impact from hard surfaces. They even applied a waterproof coating on some areas of the basement.

There is an open shower area on the basement, too. The company had put some noise-reducing fabrics on the area to decrease the dog’s noise whenever he takes a shower.

The design firm believes they just achieved an excellent result for this project. The client was pleased with the outcome, and it amazes the company how the owner expresses her love for her pet. “The love is expressed beyond the presentation of architecture and design skills, which is probably the ultimate meaning of the entire project,” the company said.
