It’s only been a year since Edisto joined his loving family. And it didn’t take long for him to adapt to his new life. Soon enough, his real personality came out.
Edisto is quite the personality. He has lots of energy and loves to always make Amanda Davis, his mom, laugh.
Most recently, the adorable dog developed a new habit, probably the silliest among all of his antics. Anytime he wants to go outside or be back inside the house; he’d press his face against their glass door. And when he hoes, he bares his teeth, making him look a bit scary but funny.
It seemed the perfect timing that Edisto discovered a new hobby. With such curly black fur, he didn’t need to wear a costume. He made the ideal live decoration for the spookiest time of the year: Halloween.
The Davis family welcomed trick-or-treaters on the front porch. With all the fun that was happening outside, Edisto decided he had to be part of it. So he asked his mom to let him out and did his thing.
The kids were spooked when they saw the dog’s silly face pressed on the door. They were surprised to see such a ‘scary Halloween decoration.’ And it seemed alive. The adults, however, liked it so much.
The children were so astonished. They couldn’t believe what they just saw. So they had to ask Amanda if Edisto was indeed a real dog or just a decoration for the occasion.
But, of course, everyone quickly realized that the ‘terrifying dog’ wasn’t that scary at all. In fact, he is adorable. The Halloween spirit has just gotten a bit too much into him. And he refuses to be left out of the fun.
Edisto was natural. Without training or spooky costumes, he gave the kids a real thrill. And they will surely look forward to the next Halloween to see him again.
