You probably remember playing with other kids in your neighborhood. You might even remember their names and the things you did as a child.
They’re great memories, which we rarely forget. And, it’s also one that we share with our kids reminiscing how it was back in the day.
Now, these particular children will have a beautiful memory when it comes to their childhood. Not only that they get to play with kids their age, but also found a friend in the form of a dog.
Two kids from Minnesota named Landon and Conway found out at an early age that they can play catch with their neighbor’s dog named Dozer.
At three years old, Landon threw a ball over the neighbor’s fence and Dozer, a yellow labrador, fetched the ball and jumped on the fence and dropped the ball on Landon’s side. Soon enough, the little boy and the dog started the exchange and played all afternoon.
Conway soon joined in the fun whenever he comes over for a playdate with Landon and soon enough, Dozer has two new friends he could play fetch with.
The boys and the dog play for hours on end, and the dog’s owners don’t mind it at all. They even like it that Dozer made new friends as he gets to exercise and stay occupied.
Dozer’s parents know that he’s been out playing fetch with the kids because he always comes back inside the house out of breath.
Although Conway has two dogs, neither knows how to play fetch. With Dozer, he can run around the backyard with his best friend Nelson and play all afternoon with Dozer.
It’s adorable to see how these kids made an unusual friendship with the neighbor’s dog. Kids and dogs do make the world a little better.
Here’s a video showing how the friendship cute friendship started.
