Dogs are selfless and tender animals. They are every human’s loyal companion and best friend. They can also be the vigilant rescuer – they will do everything in their power to make sure that you are safe. Sometimes, they even put their own life on the line. That is how amazing these beautiful beings are.

A rescue on the snowy mountains

The video uploaded by Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England reaffirms this truth. The charity provides training for dogs who want to rescue people in danger. Their program is focused on teaching dogs to look for people who are entombed in snow.

They were also witnesses to a heart-warming rescue on the snowy mountains by one of their dogs. One of their volunteers purposely buried himself in the snow. He had a camera with him so he can capture their rescue dogs in action.

A rescue dog’s frantic barking can be heard during the first few seconds of the video. Then, after a few more seconds of waiting, a dog’s nose breaks through the snow. It’s as if the dog is telling the volunteer that help is on the way.

The rescue dog used both her nose and front paws to destroy the cold barrier. When the hole was big enough, she used her body to make sure that the wall is completely wrecked. The rescue dog was quick to act, allowing her to provide help at the soonest possible time.

Go with the Flo

The paw hero featured in the video is 4-year old Flo.  She has been with the charity for quite some time now. Flo is not only a trained rescue dog; she also does a swell job at melting the hearts of everyone she meets.
