A dog escaping his family’s home is the scariest thing a pet owner could ever go through because of the uncertainty of not knowing if there is a chance for you to reunite with your beloved dog, or he is gone for good.
The Israeli police officers were doing their rounds when they spotted a disheveled Siberian Husky sitting with a group of teenagers. Despite its filthy appearance, the dog seemed to match the description of a missing dog’s post. When the teens were interviewed as to how exactly they found the dog, they said that the pooch looked like he had not eaten in a long time when they chanced upon him in a field, and appeared malnourished.
The officers called the possible dog owner as soon as they found the dog, and suggested to come over to verify if the dog was indeed his. The owner suggested that they can easily identify the dog’s identity if he can sing along to Shemesh’s theme tune, an Israeli sitcom, or the opening song of Arthur, a children’s TV program.
In the video, it shows the police playing the suggested tunes, and the husky quickly sang along to it, letting a series of adorable howls, distinguishing that the dog was his. Happily sharing the positive news to the canine’s owner, the missing dog’s human went to the pup’s location to pick him up – with the heartwarming reunion caught on camera.
Although it is not known how long the dog went missing, based on the dog’s condition, it was evident that he has been missing for quite some time now. But because this adorable and talented Siberian Husky has already reunited with his loving family who was so worried about his safety and well-being, it is guaranteed that he will recover in no time.
